I create one-of-a-kind figurative drawings using Pencil Troop, a self-developed drawing method that allows multiple pencils to work simultaneously.
My work explores the human figure, faces, movement and emotion through an energetic, physical and occasionally humorous language of line, mark and colour.
Pencil Troop
One pencil creates one line. Pencil Troop creates many.
Developed through experimentation, Pencil Troop is my way of drawing with several pencils simultaneously, creating layers of marks and unexpected interactions between them.
The technique is only the beginning. What matters to me is what those marks can become.

I am a self-taught contemporary artist based in London. My practice has developed through continual experimentation with drawing materials, techniques and subjects.
My work has received awards and has been exhibited with established UK art societies and institutions.
Each drawing is made by hand and exists as a one-of-a-kind original.
